ST. LOUIS — If this week's frigid temperatures weren't enough to tell you that winter's approaching, then here's a sure sign -- Steinberg's Skating Rink opens for its 2019-2020 season on Friday.

The 27,000 square foot ice rink in Forest Park will be open for its 63rd season every day from Nov. 15 until March 1, including holidays. Its hours are 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

It costs $7 to rent skates and $8 to get out on the rink. Once you pay, you can skate all day. A season pass costs $210.

You can also warm up around a bonfire or head to the Snowflake snack bar, where you can get burgers, brats, hot chocolate and more. For those over 21, the rink offers 30 types of beer as well as wine by the glass or bottle.

Both kids and adults can also sign up for skating lessons in the fall and winter.

For more information, head to the rink's website.
