ST. LOUIS — A new quick-service chicken wing restaurant franchise is opening in the St. Louis region.
Wing Zone Hot Chicken & Wings on Tuesday will open at 1063 S. State Route 157 in Edwardsville. The new store marks the Las Vegas-based company’s first in Illinois. It doesn’t currently have any locations in Missouri, according to its website.
The 1,500-square-foot store is in the University Pointe shopping plaza, which county records show is owned by RLP Development Inc., an Edwardsville-based real estate developer. The shopping center’s lease rate is $24 per square foot, according to marketing materials from Barber Murphey, a Shiloh-based commercial real estate agency.
