WASHINGTON COUNTY, Illinois — The Washington County Illinois Sheriff's Office is requesting help from the public as it continues its search for a missing woman last seen on April 13.

Brittany Moeser of Clarmin, Illinois, was last seen when she left her home to take her dog on a walk. But her dog was later found at the home and Moeser was gone.

Though she has previously left home, Moeser has always kept in contact with family members in the past. Authorities said she has medical conditions that "greatly jeopardize her mental and physical well-being."

Moeser has light red hair, is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 128 pounds.

Authorities said Thursday that Moeser still had not been found after 12 days spent searching through more than 500 acres of land, including help from local search and rescue agencies, two flyovers led by Illinois State Police and searches conducted by two local drone teams.

The sheriff's office asked anyone with any information on Moeser's whereabouts to come forward.

"Time is of the essence in situations such as this, and any information, no matter how small, could be crucial to locating Brittany and ensuring her safety," the sheriff's office said.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 618-327-8274, ext. 4, or email droptip@washingtonco.illinois.gov.
