ST. PETERS, Mo. — A lucky Missouri Lottery player recently won $1,000 a week for life after purchasing a Cash4Life Quick Pick at a St. Charles County grocery store.

The winning ticket was purchased on April 2 at Dierbergs, located at 217 Salt Lick Road, in St. Peters.

The ticket matched all five white-ball numbers: 26, 27, 43, 50 and 56. The Cash Ball number was 3.

If the Cash Ball number had matched on the ticket, the prize would have been $1,000 a day for life, according to Missouri Lottery.

Cash4Life is a $ 2-per-play multi-state Draw Game and drawings are held daily around 8 p.m.

Cash4Life winners can claim their prize in one of two ways. They are given the choice between a lump-sum option of $1 million (minus taxes) or an annual installment option of $52,000 (minus taxes), according to Missouri Lottery. If the winner chooses the installment option, they are entitled to a minimum of 20 annual payments.

Last year, players in St. Charles County won more than $63.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes.
