Man found shot in the head inside vehicle in St. Louis

The victim was found shot in the head inside a vehicle at Windham Avenue and Goodfellow Boulevard.

ST. LOUIS — A man was shot and killed Sunday night in St. Louis.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers found a 53-year-old man who had been shot in the head at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday inside a vehicle at Windham Avenue and Goodfellow Boulevard, just off Interstate 70.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Wednesday, he was identified as 53-year-old Demetrius Bush.

The Homicide Division assumed the ongoing investigation.

No details about what led up to the shooting were provided.
