ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis man was sentenced to prison this week for killing his neighbor back in 2021.

According to a news release from the 22nd Judicial Court of Missouri, 51-year-old Antoine Miller admitted to fatally shooting 65-year-old Damon Hill on March 29, 2021

Hill was found shot to death inside a car in the 5900 block of Dressell Avenue, located in the city's Mark Twain/Interstate 70 Industrial neighborhood, according to the release. Witnesses recounted seeing Miller fire at Hill and another person, and home surveillance video showed Miller crossing the street and firing gunshots.

Miller was indicted in 2021 on first-degree murder, assault and armed criminal action charges. He took a plea deal earlier this week for reduced charges of second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action.

In exchange for pleading guilty to the lesser charges, St. Louis Circuit Judge Paula P. Bryant sentenced Miller to a total of 20 years in prison for the four counts.
