St. Louis Swifties can listen to Taylor Swift's new album from 200 feet in the air

Taylor Swift's new album drops Friday, and St. Louis Swifties can hear it for the first time while 200 feet above the city.

ST. LOUIS — Taylor Swift's highly anticipated new album, "The Tortured Poets Department," drops this Friday, and the St. Louis Wheel at Union Station is allowing local Swifties to listen to it for the first time while high in the sky above downtown St. Louis.

Friday through Sunday, Swift's new album will be playing on repeat in the wheel's specially decorated Gondola 13, an homage to the singer's lucky number.

The listening party tickets are $25 per person. Riders will get a 6-by-8 souvenir photo with a special listening party background and, while supplies last, a friendship bracelet.

And as a special treat for nighttime riders, the wheel's lights will go red in celebration of the new album release.

The St. Louis Wheel is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
