1 woman killed, 3 other people injured in crash in Jennings

Police said a woman driving a Kia Soul northbound on Lewis and Clark Boulevard crossed into the southbound lanes and hit two cars.

JENNINGS, Mo. — A woman died in a car crash Friday night in north St. Louis County.

Officers from the St. Louis County Police Department responded to a call for the crash, which involved three cars, at about 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 9400 block of Lewis and Clark Boulevard in Jennings.

Police said a woman driving a Kia Soul northbound on Lewis and Clark Boulevard crossed into the southbound lanes and hit two cars. 

Paramedics took the driver of the Kia to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said. She was later identified as 48-year-old Tameka Guy of St. Louis.

A passenger in the Kia and two people in one of the other cars were also taken to an area hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Police said the driver of the third car was not injured. 

The St. Louis County Police Department's Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives are investigating the crash.
