Police seek fourth suspect in deadly triple shooting in south St. Louis County

St. Louis County police said the shooting happened on the parking lot of Black Forest Apartments.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Police are seeking a 20-year-old man who they said pulled the trigger in a February triple shooting in south St. Louis County that killed two people, including a 15-year-old.

The St. Louis County Police Department is asking for the public's help locating Trevor Daley, 20, of St. Louis, who is charged with two counts of second-degree murder, one count of first-degree assault, three counts of armed criminal action and one count of delivery of marijuana to minor under 17 years of age.

Prosecutors issued a sealed warrant for his arrest on Feb. 14, which is often done when officials want to protect the integrity of the investigation. The warrant was unsealed on April 4.

Daley is the fourth person to be charged in the shooting.

Tyler Coleman, 19, and Zachary Hough, 18, were both charged on Feb. 7 with two counts each of second-degree murder and armed criminal action and one count each of delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana. Bryce Mers, 18, was later charged with two counts of second-degree murder, three counts of armed criminal action and one count of first-degree attempted robbery.

Police identified the victims as Collin Courtwright, 15, and Tyree Williams, 16.

The shooting happened on Feb. 5 in the 5600 block of Chalet Hill Drive.

According to a probable cause statement, Mers planned an exchange of marijuana cartridges for money with Hough through Snapchat. He told several other people on Feb. 5 that he planned to rob Hough.

Mers arrived with Courtwright and Williams to the planned exchange.

Police said Williams stood outside while Courtwright got into another car, occupied by Hough, Coleman and Daley.

During the exchange, Courtwright pointed a gun at Hough and announced a robbery, police said. Daley then fatally shot and killed Courtwright and Williams, police said. Mers was also shot and wounded.

Police asked anyone with information on Daley's whereabouts to contact the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210 or CrimeStoppers at 1-866-371-TIPS(8477).
