Road rage shooting in St. Peters results in arrest, no injuries

ST. PETERS, Mo. — A driver was taken into custody Thursday morning and is now facing charges after police say he shot at another car during a road rage incident in St. Peters Thursday morning.

Sgt. Melissa Doss with the St. Peters Police Department said officers received a call just before 10:30 a.m. regarding a driver who shot at another car in the area of North St. Peters Parkway and Harvester. 

Responding officers found the suspect's car and a brief pursuit ensued shortly after. The suspect's car stopped near the Hickory Ridge Clubhouse at 100 N. Willow Grove Court.

After officers talked to the suspect for about 10 minutes, they took him into custody without incident.

The suspect is currently in custody at the St. Peters Police Department, police said. He is facing first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and more. 

There were no reported injuries in this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
