DES PERES, Mo. — Niche Food Group’s soon-to-relaunch restaurant concept will introduce a few of its core menu offerings through a series of pop-up events around St. Louis.

Porano, a fast-casual restaurant serving pasta bowls, grain bowls, salads and Detroit-style pizza, will host its first pop-up event and debut its salad offerings April 6 at local juice and smoothie shop Hello Juice’s Kirkwood location, at 10463 Manchester Road.

The restaurant will then debut its pasta lineup at a pop-up event April 21 at Nudo House, a fast-casual, Pan-Asian eatery at 11423 Olive Blvd. in Creve Coeur, ahead of announcing its full menu on June 2 at Wild Carrot, an event venue at 3901 Shaw Blvd. in the city’s Shaw neighborhood.

Niche's Porano concept originally opened downtown in early 2016, at 634 Washington Ave. It closed in 2018, citing the loss of convention business.

Porano is tentatively set to open this summer at 13323 Manchester Road.
