ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A retail chain with global following is set to open in both West County Center in Des Peres and South County Center in Mehlville.

CBL Properties (NYSE: CBL), which owns both shopping malls, on Thursday said it executed multiple deals with Miniso, a China-based variety retailer known for its pop toys, gadgets and household products, to open a dozen locations of its stores in shopping malls across the U.S.

Terms of the partnership weren’t disclosed, and CBL declined to provide any details about the agreements it has in place with its tenants.

The West County Center store will occupy approximately 2,000 square feet and will open next month in on the first floor of the mall, between Nordstrom and J.C. Penney, Stacey Keating, CBL’s vice president of corporate communications, said.
