ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — A new apartment complex is being proposed in St. Charles County, at the site of a prior mixed-use development plan that was dropped during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pinewoods Park, a 240-unit new apartment development proposed near Interstate Drive in Wentzville, is tied to Joe Scott Jr. of Overland-based Scott Brothers Development, city and state records show.

Development costs for the complex were not disclosed.

The developer asked the Wentzville Board of Aldermen to postpone consideration of the project until the board’s March 27 meeting. If it were to be approved and moved ahead, occupancy could start as soon as fall 2026, the developer said.
