Blue Angels jet stopping by Spirit of St. Louis this November to promote air show

The Blue Angels No. 7 jet will make a landing at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport the same day tickets for next year's event go on sale to the general public.

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — A Blue Angels jet is coming to town Monday to kick off ticket sales for next summer's Spirit St. Louis Air Show and STEM Expo.

The air show returns next June for the event's 10-year anniversary. The Blue Angels No. 7 jet will make a landing at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport at 8 a.m. on Nov. 27, the same day tickets go on sale to the general public.

The air show will be held on June 8-9, 2024, at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, celebrating a years-long tradition of previous air shows since 2014.

The Blue Angels will headline the event in their made-in-Missouri Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornets, according to a release from the air show. There will be a number of flying and on-ground displays.

For the first time next year, general admission for children 12 and under will be free.
