O'FALLON, Mo. — Panera Bread is opening a new store in growing St. Charles County.

The bakery-café chain, known locally as Saint Louis Bread Co., will open a new location Thursday at 4015 State Highway K in O’Fallon, Missouri.

The new store will feature a mobile drive-thru, kiosks for ordering dine-in and rapid pick-up, as well as mobile pick-up and delivery options, officials said in a release.

The company said it plans to hire around 35 workers to fully staff the new location, which will be its second in O’Fallon and 68th location in Missouri.

The new store will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Among the chain's other growth moves locally, Panera Bread opened a University City store last month and plans to add a drive-thru location in the new Dierbergs-anchored redevelopment of the former Crestwood Plaza mall.
