ST. LOUIS — A 15-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint by three young people near Washington Avenue Wednesday afternoon, St. Louis police said.

According to an incident report, the teen told police he was robbed by three people in a Kia Forte near the intersection of Lucas Avenue and 17th Street at around 12:40 p.m.

The boy told police he was walking in the area when the Forte pulled up next to him. He said people in the car pointed guns at him and one of them ordered him to get into the car. The teen did what they said, and when he got into the car, they demanded all of his property.

Once he complied, the suspects held him at gunpoint while they drove to the area of Shreve and Farlin avenues. When they arrived, the suspects forced him out of the car and drove off.

Police said the suspected robbers were possibly in their teens.

The victim was not physically injured. He had a backpack with a cell phone and bank card stolen in the incident.
