Major Case Squad release photos of persons of interest in Pagedale homicide

The Major Case Squad has asked for the public's assistance in locating three persons of interest.

PAGEDALE, Mo. — One person died early Friday morning after a shooting in Pagedale.

A news release from the Major Case Squad of  Greater St. Louis said the deadly shooting happened at about 12:50 a.m. on St. Charles Rock Road at Kingsland Avenue, just down the street from the MetroLink station.

At the scene, officers found 19-year-old Jaylin Johnson lying in the eastbound lanes of St. Charles Rock Road. The road was briefly closed between Kingsland and Ferguson avenues as police investigated.

The Major Case Squad assumed the investigation, Chief Huckleberry said.

On Monday, the Major Case Squad asked for the public's help in identifying three persons of interest in the shooting. They were described as a man in his late teens to mid-20s, a woman with a large build and a woman with a large build and eyeglasses. Find their photos below.

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis has the Neighborhood Healing Network, which serves people who have experienced crime, violence or been the victim of an incident that caused trauma.

Cure Violence is an international organization that is present in a handful of St. Louis neighborhoods. Violence interrupters are trained to de-escalate violent situations within their own communities.
