ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A St. Louis development company most known for its industrial work is proposing a new apartment complex in St. Louis County.

TriStar Real Estate Acquisitions LLC, which is connected to TriStar Cos., plans a 218-unit apartment complex on a nearly 19-acre property in unincorporated St. Louis County, near the city line of Creve Coeur and in the Parkway School District.

The project is called Capri on Olive, according to a proposal submitted to the St. Louis County Planning Commission. No development cost estimates were given in filings to the county.

The properties that would be developed into the apartment complex, 12685 and 12677 Olive Blvd. and 1156 Graham Road, are surrounded by single-family and multifamily housing and a variety of commercial uses that line Olive Boulevard.

TriStar Cos., led by Principal Michael Towerman, didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
