Car slams into building early Monday at Gravois, Nebraska avenues

It appeared the car had lost control somewhere in the intersection before traveling off the road. No other cars appeared to be involved.

ST. LOUIS — A car crashed into a building early Monday in south St. Louis.

St. Louis police said the crash happened just after 12:30 a.m. Monday.

5 On Your Side was at the scene and saw the car had traveled through a small yard before slamming into the north wall of a two-story structure at Gravois and Nebraska avenues, right across the street from the QuikTrip.

It appeared the car had lost control somewhere in the intersection before traveling off the road. No other cars appeared to be involved.

An ambulance was at the scene, but no information was provided on whether the driver was injured or if anyone was inside the building at the time of the crash.
