City of St. Louis, QuikTrip and Spectrum hosting job fairs this week

ST. LOUIS — There are three opportunities for job seekers this week at career fairs across the St. Louis area.

City of St. Louis Department of Health is looking to hire skilled candidates

The Department of Health for the City of St. Louis is hiring people with a wide variety of skills.

It's the job fair is set for Tuesday, June 21 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Zoom.

They're looking for people with accounting, nursing, customer service and animal control experience.

Plan to attend one of two 45-minute sessions to hear more about the positions, the application process and to prepare you for interviews.

QuikTrip hosts hiring events this week


QuikTrip (QT) needs to fill full- and part-time store clerk and assistant manager positions in its St. Louis stores.

QT pays up to $20 per hour for part-time positions and up to $52,765 annually for entry-level assistant managers. QT also offers tuition reimbursement, medical insurance, 401(k) and advancement opportunities.

Hiring events are set for:

Wednesday, June 22 at the Courtyard Marriott at 8101 Dale Avenue, Richmond Heights, MO 63117 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Thursday, June 23 at the Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis at Forest Park at 5650 Oakland Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Spectrum hiring sales reps

Spectrum needs inbound sales reps at its St. Ann call center.

It's hosting a hiring event Thursday, June 23 from 3-7 p.m. at 750 Northwest Plaza Drive, St. Ann, MO 63074.

Interested applicants can bring their resume and meet with a Spectrum recruiter to learn more about the position.

Inbound sales representatives establish and grow relationships with customers to connect them with Spectrum services.

Representatives who reach their targets can earn more than $55,000 annually; top performers have even higher earning potential.

Along with competitive wages, Spectrum provides health benefits, and for the past nine years, has absorbed the full annual cost increase of medical, dental and vision coverage. 

The company also offers a retirement plan, with a 401(k) that matches the first 6% of employee contributions, plus a Retirement Accumulation Plan with an additional 3% company contribution, for which most employees are eligible.
