ST. LOUIS — A person was fatally hit by an Amtrak train in south St. Louis Tuesday night.
It happened near S. 38th Street and Delor Street just before 9 p.m. This is located in the Bevo neighborhood.

In a statement, Amtrak said it is a standard procedure to review the performance of the trains and its crews and provide information to police agencies and other officials.
