ST. LOUIS — American and Frontier Airlines will begin international seasonal service from St. Louis Lambert International Airport, starting this Saturday.

American will be flying to Cancun International Airport (CUN) and Frontier will be flying to Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic.

American will operate its Cancun flights on Saturdays from Dec. 19 through April 3 of 2021. Departures from Lambert to Cancun are scheduled at 11:54 a.m. and return flights from Cancun will land at Lambert at 7:35 p.m. Frontier’s flights will operate Wednesdays and Saturdays through July 2021.

“We’re excited American and Frontier Airlines have added these international destinations,” said Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, STL Director. “Both Cancun and Punta Cana are important leisure destinations for many people who travel in our region. Flights like these not only bring added service and competitive fares to STL, it also shows the continued recognition of the strength of this airport.”

American currently serves six destinations from Lambert and Frontier serves five destinations from the airport.
