2 critically injured in north St. Louis shooting Wednesday afternoon

ST. LOUIS — An investigation is underway after a shooting in north St. Louis Wednesday afternoon.

According to a report from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, two men were injured near 20th and Dodier, which is in the St. Louis Place neighborhood.

On Thursday, police said one of the men was found inside a vehicle with puncture wounds. He was transported to a hospital where he's in critical condition and his vitals were considered unstable. 

The second victim was shot and was transported to a hospital by private conveyance. He was listed in critical condition and his vitals were considered unstable. 

Police said its homicide division is investigating.
