Storm Alert | Snow pushing out of the St. Louis area

Mostly wet roads Wednesday evening

ST. LOUIS — Early morning snow left a dusting to an inch or so of snow across parts of the bi-state area. Much of that snow melted during the day even though the flakes continued much of the day.

Light snow is pushing east of the St. Louis area this evening and ending through the evening. Commuters should look out for wet road conditions during both the morning and evening commutes.

No major problems were reported during the evening rush hour.

The next few days will feature a warming trend. Thursday into Friday will still be mostly cloudy and it doesn't get above 40 until Friday afternoon. By Sunday, sunshine finally returns to the area along with above average temperatures. Highs in some areas will reach into the 60s.
