ST. LOUIS — An investigation is underway after a man was struck and killed in St. Louis’ Northampton neighborhood.
At around 6 a.m., 79-year-old Thomas Abkemeier was attempting to cross Macklind Avenue when the driver of a 2017 Mazda CX-5 hit him
Abkemeier was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Accident Reconstruction is handling the investigation.
