ST. LOUIS — St. Louis’ favorite pizza has a new look.
Imo’s Pizza announced it has changed its pizza boxes for the month of December.
This is the first time ever the ‘square beyond compare’ has changed up its famous pizza box.
”This year, for the first time ever, Imo’s changed its iconic white pizza box with a new, all red design to add to the fun and excitement of the holiday season. “We wanted to create a miniature Imo’s Winter Wonderland experience that would appeal to a younger generation and demographic,” explained president, Carl Imo. Now, fans can enjoy a fun and interactive augmented reality feature along with the traditional pizza, toasted ravioli, and salad.”
And the box isn’t just any ordinary pizza box…
The new box is equipped with an ‘augmented reality trigger,’ so when the user hovers over their box with their phone, a fun and interactive snow globe will pop up and hover above the box, a spokesperson said.
