Giving Tuesday: Help a St. Louis area charity spread holiday cheer

This year's mission for the United Way is the '100 Neediest Cases'

ST. LOUIS — Charities around the St. Louis area are looking to help make the holidays special for everyone on 'Giving Tuesday.'

This year's mission for the United Way is the '100 Neediest Cases.' Donations will help buy kids clothes, coats and help families pay bills.

"100 Neediest Cases really connects people who want to help, want to give on Giving Tuesday to be able to help someone that needs that help this holiday," Becky White of United Way said.

The project is expected to help 4,000 families

"We all love to shop for presents," White said.

"The experience of opening the gift. You can give that gift to someone this Tuesday through 100 neediest cases"

Thanks to the support of community partners, 100% of donations goes to the families in need. If you want to take your donation a step further, you can adopt a family this holiday season.
