ST. LOUIS — An investigation is underway after a 14-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint in south St. Louis Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 4500 block of Gravois in the Bevo neighborhood around 4:25 p.m. where the 14-year-old said he was walking with a friend when a car pulled up next to them.
Two teens got out of the car and approached the teen over ‘personal matters,’ police said.
One of the teens pulled out a gun and pointed it at the 14-year-old while the other teen reached into the victim’s pockets and took his money and cellphone.
Both teens got away from the scene.
The victim was not injured.
