Pedestrian struck by truck in Central West End

Firefighters said the pedestrian broke his arm and hit his head.

ST. LOUIS — A pedestrian was injured after he was struck by a truck in the Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis on Thursday evening.

He was struck shortly before 7 p.m.

The driver of the truck stayed at the scene.

Firefighters on scene told 5 On Your Side that the pedestrian broke his arm and hit his head, but his injuries did not appear life-threatening.
