EFFINGHAM, Ill. – Three people from Wildwood, Missouri were killed in a crash near Effingham, Illinois over the weekend.
Emergency crews responded to Interstate 70 at mile post 90, approximately four miles west of Effingham, Saturday morning for a crash.
A truck driven by a man from Michigan hit the back of an SUV driven by Virgina E. Abrams 59, of Wildwood. The crash killed Abrams and her two passengers – 63-year-old Mathew Murphy and 61-year-old Marleen Murphy, both from Wildwood.
Three other people were hurt in the crash, including a woman from St. Charles and a man from Wildwood.
