Man charged in Calverton Park murder linked to another man’s murder

While investigating Kenneth Alvern Linzie’s death, the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis developed information relative to the murder investigation of 41-year-old Deandre Moore.

Jeffrey E. Tod was charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection with a man found dead in a garage in Calverton Park on January 13.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY - A man charged in connection to a Calverton Park murder has been charged in another man’s murder.

Jeffrey E. Tod was charged with murder earlier this week in connection with the death of 68-year-old Kenneth Alvern Linzie.  

Linzie was found dead in a garage behind a home in Calverton Park on Jan 13.

While investigating Linzie’s death, the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis developed information relative to the murder investigation of 41-year-old Deandre Moore.

Moore was found shot to death inside of his Honda Accord at the corner of Barto Drive and New Florissant Road on Dec, 10, 2018.

The St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges for second-degree murder and armed criminal action on Tod Thursday afternoon.

No bond was authorized for Tod.
