HIGH RIDGE, Mo. – The Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic in High Ridge took to Facebook to introduce a new adorable kitten!

But, it’s not the kind of kitten you’re thinking of.

A 5-week-old bobcat kitten was brought to the clinic after being found near the dead body of her mother near Troy, Mo.

The little fighter was the only survivor of a litter of four, according to the Facebook post.

In a few weeks, the kitten will be transferred to a “partner rehabber” of the clinic to join other orphaned bobcats of the same age.

There, the bobcats will be cared for together and then released back into the wild when they are old enough to live on their own.

The clinic will share the kitten's journey over the coming weeks on its Facebook page!
