Trevor Noah adds second Peabody show in May

ST. LOUIS — Trevor Noah, the host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show", will perform twice at the Peabody Opera House in May.

Monday, Noah announced his previously-announced Friday, May 11 show will receive a second, late show at 10 p.m. He takes the stage for the first show at 7:30 p.m.

The stand-up comedian who was born in Africa has built a hugely-successful comedy career, including nine comedy specials, his New York Times bestselling book “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood,” numerous award nominations, and two seasons as host of his own late night talk show, "Tonight with Trevor Noah," before joining "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" in 2014 as a contributor.

Tickets for the second show go on sale Friday, January 26 at 11 a.m. and can be purchased through LiveNation, at the Scottrade Center Box Office, or by phone at (800) 745-3000.
